Bissens skulptur kaldes i folkemunde gerne Diana (alias jagtens gudinde). Figuren, der blev til i 1890, regnes blandt denne kunstners betydeligste arbejder. I skulpturen forenes den ældre klassicistiske tradition med tidens naturalistiske nybrud. Skulpturen er skænket af Forskønnelsesforeningen i anledning af dennes 50 års jubilæum.
Bissen's sculpture is usually known as Diana (goddess of the hunt). The figure, which was created in 1890, is considered among the principal works of this artist. In the sculpture, the older classicist tradition is joined with the new departure of naturalism of the time. The Sculpture is donated by Forskønnelsesforeningen (the organisation for beautification of the city), to mark the 50th anniversary of the organisation.
